"I know the wait is hard" I heard the Father whisper. May 2021

I know the wait is hard…
Today as I was worshiping, I felt I heard the Father say to me:
“I know the wait is hard.

Exodus 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Don’t think because you see no change, that nothing is happening. It says in Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

The prodigal children, the sick, the discouraged, the lonely, the ones in pain, I see it all and the day of reconciliation, restoration and healing is coming. Hold on to hope, be persistent in prayer, for the prayers are indeed heard and you will be rejoicing on the mountain top.

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Like a woman who waits patiently in discomfort for her baby to arrive, as she then holds that child with tears of joy, so will you birth your promise and embrace it with joy!

I am still the God of miracles and always will be. I am the same yesterday, today and forever more. Trust in my timing and my ways even if you don’t understand now.

Isaiah 55: 8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Don’t allow discouragement to pull you down. Rise up, remain standing and know there is no one who can stand against you when I am for you!
James 5:8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.”………………..

And that was it, that’s what I felt I heard the Father say. I then began to think about Abraham, Joseph, David and many more in the bible who were given promises and dreams and they had to wait patiently while remaining in obedience to God, remaining in love and continued to serve others.

I saw these things in these men’s lives especially Joseph and David, always serving to their best ability and loving God, doing what was right in His eyes no matter their circumstance. Joseph probably did not understand why all this was happening and especially right after the amazing dreams of promises God gave him, but in the end as he continued to be faithful to God year after year the dreams came true and he then understood the wait.

I believe the key is, as we wait we must remain loving God with all our hearts, in constant prayer and faithfulness, walking in daily obedience, serving others, and the promises will come to pass as it did for the many people in the bible.

I also believe we have to be careful not to let the promise become more important than our relationship with the Father. He is number 1 and everything else will follow according to His will and plan for our lives when we put Him first.
