Sickness and My Sons Healing

Melissa Corbin

It hurts my heart when God is blamed for sicknesses and unfortunate mishaps that happen to us, there is no sickness, depression, confusion or chaos in heaven. These things don’t come from our Father, they come from the enemy.

God is not the author of confusion and suffering. He doesn’t make mistakes and there are no “opps” with God. His knowledge and understanding has no limits. He is unlimited knowledge and He is wisdom therefore leaving no room for error.

So as far as I am concerned due to His perfection and Holiness, I can’t blame Him for anything that goes wrong but instead I cry out to Him for help.

1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

Would we loving parents give hurtful and harmful gifts to our children here on earth? No, so why would God give poverty, physical and mental sicknesses to name a few to His? Think about it, He is either a good Father or not, there is no in-between and I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good!

Let me share a miracle that happened for my son. God is always willing to heal.

It was one school morning while I was getting their two lunch
boxes ready that Adon came out for breakfast looking quite unwell. He looked so unhappy, which was not like him.

‘Mom, my head and tummy hurt. I don’t feel well’.
As he sat on the couch, I went to him to check to see if he had fever, and he was very warm. I told him to stay there and rest on the sofa as I quickly finished making breakfast for both of them, obviously planning on keeping him home with me that day.

Within seconds, the Holy Spirit interrupted and said, ‘Melissa,
tell Adon the story of when the woman grabbed the hem of
my garment’. I didn’t know why I had to tell Adon that story at that very moment, but who are we to question God.

So, I paused everything during that busy morning and sat by Adon’s side. I told him the story of the woman who had bled profusely every day for years. She made her way in the busy crowd, and in desperation grabbed His hem in faith that she would be healed.

I was very detailed as I explained this story to him in order to grasp his attention. No sooner had I finished the story then my daughter Paige walked into the kitchen and said, ‘Mom, come into my room, I want to show you something’.

‘Adon, I will be right back. You close your eyes and imagine yourself reaching out in faith to grab His garment’.

I was back in under a minute. Adon was sitting there extremely still with his eyes open in almost a gaze.

‘Adon, are you okay? What happened?’
‘Mom, would you believe me if I told you?’ Adon asked, looking
very emotional.

‘Why wouldn’t I? Of course’, I reassured him.

‘Mom, I closed my eyes like you said, and I reached out my hand pretending to grab His garment, but for real, Mom. I then felt those tassel things go over my toes. I think Jesus walked by me’.

I knew he had to be healed with an encounter like that. I immediately touched his neck to feel for fever, and it was normal. I fell on my knees in front of Adon in awe. Every symptom Adon had was gone, and he was completely healed, which ended with him going to school that morning. One doesn’t have a high fever including pains and aches and three minutes later everything is completely gone.

That was 100 percent Jesus.

Let’s speak daily over our bodies declaring life! Tell that sickness it has to go using scriptures and the authority God gave you in Jesus’ name and watch your miracles start to manifest. Speak change over every negative situation in Jesus name. He’s only asking for faith the size of a mustard seed.

Matthew 7:9-11 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
